(CT) - The Can Tho Newspaper, published on June 4, 2025, on page 5, has an article titled “Serious degradation of the road”. The article reflects that the road section at the intersection between Lo Te Ba Se and National Highway 91 (in Binh Hoa A area and Binh Lap area, Phuoc Thoi ward) has been seriously degraded for many years, but has not been upgraded or repaired. The road surface is rough with many deep holes that hold water like “traps” for road users. Up to now, the above-mentioned degraded road section has not been repaired or upgraded, and the road surface has become even more seriously degraded (photo).

In the immediate future, residents of Binh Hoa A and Binh Lap areas request that the authorities and local governments patch up the road in a timely manner to ensure safe travel during the rainy season. In the long term, residents recommend that the city pay attention to upgrading, expanding and installing a drainage system to keep the road clear and ensure safety for road users.
