
Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, Commander of Military Region 7; Lieutenant General Tran Hoai Trung, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 7; Lieutenant General Le Hong Nam, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police; Major General Phan Van Xung, Political Commissar of the City Command; Ms. Tran Kim Yen, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City and representatives of many agencies and units in Military Region 7.

Participating in the parade and march to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Southern Female Guerrilla Group will move to the National Military Training Center 4 (Hanoi) and Dien Bien province to conduct phase 2 and phase 3 joint training, preliminary rehearsal, general rehearsal and carry out official tasks with the armed forces participating in the parade and march during the celebration.

At the departure ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang directed and required each female militia soldier to continue to overcome all difficulties in weather, new training locations, and organize training for the next stages, ensuring the highest quality.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang also requested that the marching and training process must be absolutely safe; each individual must always unite and support each other in all tasks; the security department must take good care of the material and spiritual life of the Southern female guerrillas to perform well the parade and marching tasks at the upcoming celebration, worthy of the trust of Military Region 7 and the Ho Chi Minh City Command.
Previously, on the afternoon of March 14, the Ho Chi Minh City Command also held a ceremony to send off officers and soldiers to participate in parade training and marching in the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.
