Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh: From the success of the Autumn Fair, propose a plan to organize the Spring Fair

On the evening of November 3, at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the Closing Ceremony of the first Autumn Fair - 2025 and launched a fundraising campaign to support people affected by storms and floods, with the theme "Autumn of hope - sharing love".

Also attending the event were: Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son; Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Government agencies; leaders of central ministries and branches; local leaders; representatives of diplomatic agencies, international organizations, associations, corporations, and domestic and foreign enterprises.

The 1st Autumn Fair - 2025 was held from October 25 to November 4, opening a series of national-scale trade - investment - cultural promotion activities in the new era. The 1st Autumn Fair - 2025 became a place to converge, connect and spread the spirit of innovation, stimulate consumption, promote production and import and export.

The 1st Autumn Fair - 2025 has set 6 most impressive records ever: Largest scale, most modern space, most diverse products, highest quality, most attractive activities and best incentive policies.

The fair attracted over 2,500 domestic organizations and enterprises from countries such as Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, New Zealand, the European Union, etc.; with 3,000 booths displaying and introducing key and typical product groups in many fields from industry, science - technology , innovation, cultural industry, e-commerce to agricultural products, processed foods, consumer goods, services and tourism, etc.

In addition to promotional activities, product introductions, and trade connections, there are also more than 30 thematic events organized in parallel such as conferences, seminars, forums, thematic festivals, cultural and artistic activities... Every day, the fair attracts 100,000 visitors and transactions; recorded more than 2,000 trade transactions, more than 100 cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding signed, with a total value of transactions, contracts and memorandums of understanding (MoU) reaching nearly 5,000 billion VND.

In particular, responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the direction of the Prime Minister, the Organizing Committee has implemented a donation program to support people in the Central and Northern mountainous provinces who were severely affected by natural disasters and floods in September and October. As a result, after 10 days of the fair, the Organizing Committee has received more than 2 billion VND in donations from kind-hearted people...

At the Closing Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded and honored 30 domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises with outstanding exhibition spaces at the 1st Autumn Fair - 2025.

Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister emphasized that with the theme "Connecting People with Production and Business", the first Autumn Fair in 2025 is a forum for promoting trade and investment, a "real trading floor", where people are affirmed to be the center, the subject, the driving force and the resource of all production, business and consumption activities.

Highlighting the outstanding results of the 2025 Autumn Fair, the Prime Minister affirmed that the Fair has become a festival of creative technology and arts and culture, where the core value is affirmed: "Economic development must go hand in hand with cultural, social and human development".

Considering that the Fair is a journey of experience across Vietnam, a vivid picture of the vitality of Vietnamese goods, for a large number of visitors, the Prime Minister affirmed that each booth is a cultural piece, a unique story about the localities and people of Vietnam - a place that not only "shines" industrial products, high technology, green energy, modern, cultural and artistic products, unique regional products, but also a space for shopping and entertainment experiences full of fun and incentives, along with unique cultural and culinary festivals. Many Vietnamese products and brands are highly appreciated by international friends, opening up new export opportunities and gradually "covering" Vietnamese brands on the global trade map.

According to the Prime Minister, the success of the first Autumn Fair in 2025 is an affirmation that the Vietnamese market is not only attractive in terms of scale and development speed, but also a safe, friendly, promising and attractive "destination" for international investors. The Fair is a symbol of the spirit of solidarity and common development aspirations of the entire Vietnamese people; clearly demonstrating the belief in a dynamic, creative and future-oriented Vietnam.

"This success comes from the Party's wise leadership and direction, the Government's drastic and flexible management, the participation of the entire political system, people, and business community with the spirit of "Party leadership - State creation - Pioneering enterprises - Public and private cooperation - People's sympathy - International support" - a great source of strength to help Vietnam confidently rise up, integrate deeply, and affirm its position in the international arena," the Prime Minister pointed out.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the responsible, dedicated and creative participation of the Central and local ministries, branches, business community, people nationwide and international organizations and friends - those who joined hands to make the first Autumn Fair in 2025 a success - an economic and cultural festival rich in identity, connecting Vietnam with the world in the spirit of cooperation and development.

Recalling the Prime Minister's call at the opening ceremony of the Fair to join hands in donating and supporting people affected by natural disasters through the program "Autumn of Hope" and with the spirit of "production and business development always goes hand in hand with social responsibility", up to now, the donation and support activities have received 316 billion VND, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, thanked the kind hearts and sharing of the whole community with people in flood-hit areas; affirmed that this spirit of humanity is the most beautiful expression of the precious tradition of "national love and compatriotism" of our nation, the foundation and endogenous strength for us to go further and more firmly on the path of development.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that in recent days, people in the central provinces of our country have had to brace themselves against natural disasters and floods, causing very heavy losses in human lives and property; and in the near future, they will have to continue to cope with storm No. 13, which is strengthening in the East Sea.

With the tradition of "mutual love", "national love, compatriotism" and the spirit of "whoever has something contributes, whoever has merit contributes, whoever has property contributes, whoever has a lot contributes a lot, whoever has little contributes a little, wherever there is advantage, contribute there", at the closing ceremony of the Fair, the Prime Minister continued to call on the business community, compatriots and soldiers nationwide to continue to accompany, join hands to support, share losses, and add motivation for people in areas of natural disasters and floods to be resilient and steadfast in the face of difficulties, soon stabilize their lives and restore production and business.

The Prime Minister pointed out that the 2025 Autumn Fair concluded with impressive numbers, inspiring, creating motivation and positive spillover effects.

To continue promoting the positive results achieved, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to proactively build a professional, modern, and effective annual Autumn Fair organization model and urgently propose a plan to successfully organize the first Spring Fair - 2026.

Ministries, branches, agencies, units and localities promote opportunities, commitments and agreements formed at the Fair; transform trade results into specific, practical and effective projects and products.

Industry associations and the business community continue to innovate their thinking and make efforts in production and business to affirm the value of Vietnamese brands, contributing to the country's socio-economic development while demonstrating responsibility to the community, especially providing timely and practical support to people in areas affected by natural disasters and floods.

International partners and organizations continue to accompany Vietnam in trade cooperation, investment, technology transfer, human resource training, green and sustainable development; together expanding the space for cooperation, for peace, prosperity and common development.

At the Closing Ceremony, the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Autumn Fair expressed gratitude and received donations to support people affected by storms, floods, and natural disasters in the Central and Northern mountainous regions as initiated by the Prime Minister at the Opening Ceremony of the Fair.
