With the strict implementation of Resolutions and Directives from superiors, and the proactive issuance of leadership regulations and their concretization in the work program, the Youth Union work and the Youth movement in the Border Guard units of Tuyen Quang province have been comprehensively and synchronously deployed. Thanks to this foundation, the Youth Union organizations have been consolidated, improved, and constantly innovated in terms of content and methods of operation. The cadres and Youth Union members always maintain political mettle, uphold the spirit of military-civilian solidarity, are proactive, creative, ready to overcome hardships, and are deeply attached to the border.

The most typical is the emulation movement "Young Border Guards practice morality, practice talent, be proactive and creative for territorial sovereignty and national border security" in the period of 2022 - 2025, which has achieved many impressive results. Typically, in the task of protecting sovereignty and border security, Youth Union members are always the leading shock force with 4,124 times/34,631 people participating in unilateral and bilateral patrols, promptly detecting and handling violations of the law, 100% of Youth Union members participating in training achieved high quality (the rate of good and excellent reached over 80%). On the cyberspace front, Border Guard youth have actively fought, posted and shared 2,130 news, articles and photos, attracting more than 1 million views to effectively refute distorted arguments... Many leaders and Youth Union officials have had many initiatives in training as well as building "bright - green - clean - beautiful" agencies and units, 100% of Youth Union branches have promoted the movement of learning foreign languages ​​and ethnic minority languages.

The Border Guard Youth is also a pioneer in preventing natural disasters and epidemics. During the Covid-19 pandemic, hundreds of Youth Union members did not hesitate to face hardships and dangers to guard against epidemics and illegal immigration. They participated in search and rescue operations in landslides and overcoming the consequences of storms and floods. Promoting the tradition of close ties, the Border Guard Youth of Tuyen Quang province is the core force in building a strong people's border defense by actively propagating and mobilizing people to comply with the law. There have been 2,134 propaganda sessions for nearly 87,000 listeners and over 10,254 hours of propaganda through the "Border Guard Loudspeaker" model.

With the spirit of "Wherever needed, there are youth, wherever there is difficulty, there are youth", the youth of the Border Guard in the border area have continuously contributed to the community and people in the border areas. Through meaningful programs such as "Border March", "Volunteer Winter", "Border Spring warms the hearts of the villagers", in just two years, the Youth Union members of the units have mobilized 876 million VND and 3,605 working days to remove temporary and dilapidated houses, repair and support the construction of 1,316 solidarity houses for the people. The total value of cash and gifts in social security activities and free medical examination and treatment has reached an impressive 2.8 billion VND.

This sharing is also demonstrated through practical models that are maintained and replicated such as "Border Puller", "Green-uniformed Military Teacher", "Green-uniformed Military Doctor", "Border Class" and "Lighting Up the Border Area". Pioneering in digital transformation, Border Guard youth have actively responded to the "Digital Education for All" movement, becoming "Digital Teachers" to guide people to install electronic identification, look up online public services, thereby shortening the administrative and knowledge gap between remote areas and the center.

In the journey of sowing knowledge and sharing love, the youth of the Border Guard have effectively implemented the program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of the Border Guard Station". In addition to the role of teachers and second fathers who wholeheartedly help children study and practice every day, the units have awarded scholarships to a total of 1,048 students/children. In particular, the adoption of 48 "Adopted children of the Border Guard Station" with a total support amount of up to 2 billion 520 million VND has opened up a bright future for many poor children in the border area. Along with that gesture is a profound "Journey of Gratitude". On the occasion of holidays and Tet, the youth unions always organize activities to decorate, offer incense, and light candles in gratitude at martyrs' cemeteries, deepening the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" for the young generation.

In addition, the spirit of solidarity is always firmly consolidated: 14/14 grassroots youth unions regularly maintain twinning activities with local youth unions, organize 46 meaningful exchanges and discussions to introduce border lines and landmarks, strengthen military-civilian solidarity and tighten friendly relations with border protection forces of neighboring countries.

The youth movements of the Border Guard of Tuyen Quang province are not only diversified in content but also flexible in operation methods, suitable to the unit's mission requirements in the new situation. This innovation has significantly improved the quality of the staff and Youth Union members and attracted a large number of members to participate.

From the movements, many typical examples with good and creative ways of doing things have emerged, highly appreciated by Party committees, commanders at all levels, and leaders of central and local ministries and branches. In just the past two years, many individuals have been honored, typically 28 comrades have achieved the title of Outstanding Young Faces of the Provincial Border Guard and 46 excellent members have been honored to be admitted to the Party. The above results have affirmed the pioneering and creative position of the youth of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Border Guard as the core force in the cause of protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security, worthy of the trust and expectations of Party committees, authorities and ethnic people in the homeland.
