The distance from the group's accommodation to the Alabino training ground is more than 100km. To ensure the departure according to regulations, the group had breakfast at 4:30. At exactly 5:30, the convoy set off towards the Alabino training ground.
Alabino Training Ground is located within the Patriot Military Park, which has a dedicated area for the Tank Biathlon competition - one of the exciting competitions at the Army Games.
After nearly 2 hours of travel, the Vietnam People's Army delegation arrived at the Alabino training ground to prepare. At exactly 9 o'clock, the military delegations from all countries had gathered. Right before the delegations gathered, the organizing committee arranged dozens of water trucks to sprinkle water on the training ground to reduce the amount of dust in the area. The morning temperature at the Alabino training ground was around 2 degrees Celsius, with sunny weather. However, the windy weather made the feeling of freezing cold more and more obvious.
After 2 days of getting used to the new environment and adapting to the weather conditions, this was the first training session between the military delegations of the countries participating in the Parade on Red Square . During this training session, the delegations learned about the positions, starting order in the parade as well as the regulations of the Organizing Committee.
The People's Army Newspaper respectfully introduces some images of the first joint training session of the Vietnam People's Army delegation and other countries at the Alabino training ground.
