On the sidelines of the 80th Anniversary of Agriculture and Environment (1945 - 2025) and the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress, which took place on the morning of November 12 in Hanoi, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hieu, Director of External Relations of De Heus Group in Vietnam, shared: "Through following the mass media as well as data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , I am very impressed with the growth rate of Vietnam's agriculture sector - especially the livestock and agricultural product export sectors in recent years".

As for Royal De Heus Group, after nearly 17 years of investment in Vietnam, it has continuously grown, becoming one of the two largest groups in the field of animal feed and livestock ecosystem.

The company has brought in new technologies from Europe; advanced, modern breeding processes; high-quality breeds; and at the same time, built sustainable value chains, linked to the overall development of the company in recent times.

According to Mr. Hieu, in the coming time, De Heus will continue to persevere and be steadfast in its orientation towards sustainable development, building linkage chains with breeders and businesses in Vietnam, in accordance with the policies of the Party and the State.

He commented: “In the entire production chain of the livestock food industry, the farm stage is facing the most difficulties. Currently, farms are affected by many factors such as climate change, feed prices, diseases and output fluctuations. In particular, the care and feeding process and biosecurity issues are also major challenges that livestock farms have to face.”

Accordingly, for De Heus's supply chains, from the very first days of investing in Vietnam, up to now and in the future orientation, De Heus has always identified breeds and technical factors as key factors.

The Group has cooperated with many major European partners to produce high-yield, disease-free, superior quality livestock breeds with the best output to best meet the needs of breeders.

In addition, the Group also focuses on training and developing a team of professional technicians to support, advise and accompany customers and partners throughout the breeding process.

At the same time, De Heus also researches and develops optimal nutritional solutions, helping farmers improve efficiency and reduce production costs.

Sharing about the orientation of green growth and sustainable development in the current and upcoming period, Mr. Hieu said that De Heus is implementing clean energy systems.

“Currently, our factories and farms have been, are and will continue to install solar power systems to create clean energy for production; at the same time, we also deploy many solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in livestock and production activities,” Mr. Hieu added.

In addition to investing in clean energy, De Heus also proactively develops and deploys modern livestock solutions and processes, cooperating with leading equipment suppliers to apply advanced technology in livestock farming and production. The goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, accompanying the business community and the government towards the Net Zero target by 2050, in line with the development orientation of the Vietnamese Government .

Consistent with the green development orientation, De Heus is gradually realizing the Net Zero goal through specific actions: Investing in clean energy, reducing emissions in livestock farming and promoting sustainable agricultural value chains. This is not just a business strategy, but a long-term commitment for the green future of Vietnam.
