Innovation in the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations(*)

Hai Phong Electronic Newspaper respectfully publishes a speech on continuing to innovate the operation methods of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations by comrade Nguyen Duc Tuan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city at the 1st City Party Congress.

Entering the new era, Hai Phong city after the merger has the 4th largest population in the country; is the 3rd largest megacity in the country in terms of economic scale and budget revenue, converging all factors, potentials and development advantages, meeting the criteria of a special-class urban area. Along with that, the powerful force of the great national solidarity bloc under the roof of the City Front currently has over 1 million people of the working class, intellectuals and laborers; nearly 2 million farmer members, over 1 million youth; over 1 million women members, 190,000 veteran members and a large number of members of mass organizations.

To meet the requirements of tasks in the period of industrial revolution 4.0 and international integration, the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations of the city focus on implementing a number of key tasks and solutions:

Strengthening propaganda, dissemination and implementation of 4 key resolutions (Resolution 57, Resolution 59, Resolution 66, Resolution 68) and new resolutions of the Central Committee (Resolution 70, Resolution 71, Resolution 72), associated with the implementation of socio-economic development goals, promoting the strength of great national unity for Hai Phong city to develop comprehensively, sustainably and integrate internationally.

Continue to participate in perfecting mechanisms and policies to ensure effective implementation of people's mastery according to the motto "people know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people receive rewards", arousing potential, resources, strength, patriotism, national pride, sense of social responsibility, self-reliance and self-improvement of each person and each residential area.

Maintain the pioneering role and core leadership of the City Party Committee and Party committees at all levels, raise awareness of the entire political system in promoting the strength of great national unity. The Party's leadership is the flag that gathers the strength of great unity with the mechanism of "Party leadership, State management, Fatherland Front as the core for the People to be the masters". Strengthen the Party's leadership over the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations. Further tighten the close relationship between the Party and the people, constantly consolidate and strengthen the people's trust in the Party's leadership. Propose effective mechanisms for the people to participate in building a clean and strong Party and political system, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Party organizations and Party members.

Innovate the organization and operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and mass organizations; operate in depth, effectively and practically; gather and mobilize resources among the people under the direction of General Secretary To Lam. In particular, organize and implement tasks according to Resolution No. 21-NQ/TU of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership over the Front's work in the period of 2025 - 2030, with a vision to 2045. Play a good role in gathering all classes and strata in society, paying special attention to those who are not yet members of the organizations; promote the role of member organizations, intellectuals, scientists, business community, armed forces, Hai Phong people at home and abroad to unite, join hands, and promote the tradition of patriotism; Gather the will, mettle and aspirations of the entire people to turn them into important resources contributing to the cause of building, protecting and developing the city.

Innovate and diversify forms of mass mobilization, effectively use modern media in propaganda, education, connection, grasp thoughts and aspirations, promptly reflect people's opinions and contributions; effectively carry out campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, build united, prosperous and happy residential areas, build Hai Phong city into a drug-free, civilized and happy city.

Improve the quality of social supervision and criticism in an early, grassroots, democratic, objective and constructive manner; focus on major policies, issues directly related to the people's legitimate rights and interests, and issues of public concern. Promote people's re-supervision and social criticism activities, reflecting the people's voices and aspirations to Party committees and authorities at all levels. Build a mechanism to attract the participation of good scientists and experts, and the role of the Advisory Council in the activities of the Front.

Reorganize the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State to ensure streamlined, efficient, effective, and efficient operations, associated with restructuring and improving the quality of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers. Timely resolve difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process. Build a contingent of Front officials with capacity, prestige, enthusiasm, responsibility, and dedication to the common work.

Applying artificial intelligence, contributing to building and adapting to a digital society to propagate and mobilize people in a comprehensive, focused, and practical manner. Perfecting the digital ecosystem of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and organizations; digitizing specialized databases in Front work; integrating virtual assistants to support Front officials, people and organizations.
