Vietnam Sepak Takraw team won 2 gold medals at the Asian Championship

The 2023 Asian Sepak Takraw Championship will be held in Hangzhou, China from June 20 to 23. The Vietnamese Sepak Takraw team will participate in two events for women, namely 3-person and 4-person teams.

Accordingly, the Vietnamese sepak takraw team is in the same group with China, the Philippines, and Taiwan. The 3-person team (including Tran Thi Ngoc Yen, Nguyen Thi My, Tran Thi Hong Nhung, Vu Thi Van Anh, Tran Thi Ngoc Quynh) will compete from June 20 to 21, while the 4-person team (including Tran Thi Ngoc Yen, Nguyen Thi My, Tran Thi Ngoc Quynh, Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, Vu Thi Van Anh, Tran Thi Hong Nhung) will compete from June 22 to 23.

The Vietnamese Sepak Takraw girls have successfully completed their mission by winning both gold medals in the events they participated in. The medal ceremony of the 2023 Asian Sepak Takraw Championship took place on the evening of June 23 (Vietnam time).
