Vietnam national team and U22 team will gather in November

VHO - The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said that the Vietnam national team and the national U22 team will gather in November 2025 to prepare for upcoming important international missions.

While the Vietnamese team looks forward to the away match against Laos in the 2027 Asian Cup Qualifiers, the national U22 team will participate in the 2025 Panda Cup international friendly tournament in China and complete preparations for the 33rd SEA Games.

According to the plan, the Vietnamese team will gather from November 10 to 19, 2025. After gathering at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center ( Hanoi ), the team will move to Viet Tri (Phu Tho) to practice from November 11 to 14.

VHO - According to the October 2025 rankings of the World Football Federation (FIFA), the Vietnam team has risen to 111th place in the world.

From November 15 to 19, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will go to Laos to compete in the 5th match of the 2027 Asian Cup Final Qualifiers against the Laos team.

Also during this period, U22 Vietnam had two consecutive training sessions.

In the 4th batch in 2025 (from November 10 to 19), the team is expected to call up about 26 players to participate in the 2025 Panda Cup International Friendly Tournament in China, with the participation of quality teams including U22 China, U22 Uzbekistan and U22 Korea.

Right after the end of the tournament in China, U22 Vietnam will enter the 5th training session from November 23 to December 19.

This is also considered the rehearsal period before the 33rd SEA Games.

The team will train in Vung Tau from November 23 to 29, then move to Ho Chi Minh City and leave for Thailand on December 2 to attend the 33rd SEA Games.

In the group stage of SEA Games 33, U22 Vietnam will meet U22 Laos on December 5 and U22 Malaysia on December 11.
