
Accordingly, the condition of the 19 victims was classified specifically as follows: 2 patients were treated at the Department of Spinal Surgery, 1 patient had multiple fractures of the 12 thoracic vertebrae, the remaining case had a back injury. The two patients (Department of Thoracic Surgery) both suffered closed chest injuries, of which 1 had a fracture of the 3-6 ribs on the right side, a collapsed lung, a fracture of the right clavicle, the other had a fracture of the 2-3 ribs on the right side, a fracture of the pubic ramus, and multiple injuries.
Along with that, 5 patients (admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery) had head injuries, stable condition; 1 patient (treated at the Department of General Surgery) had closed abdominal injuries; 7 patients (treated at the Orthopedic Trauma Center) had burns, of which 3/7 cases were indicated for emergency surgery, the remaining 4 cases had broken bones that were immobilized.

Currently, the Hospital is monitoring the health of the victims, providing comprehensive medical care and coordinating with specialized departments to ensure timely and safe treatment for each patient.
Regarding the accident scene, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Dang, Head of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, said that at 9:30 a.m., the rescue team had brought the last two victims out of the scene of the passenger bus with license plate 59H-53114 accident on Khanh Le Pass.

“While on duty, 15 officers and soldiers of Team 3 were evacuating the victims from the area, a few dozen meters from the scene, when suddenly a large landslide occurred, isolating the soldiers. Initial information shows that everyone is safe,” added Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Dang.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police coordinated with functional forces to continue implementing plans to overcome landslides at Km43 and Km47 on Khanh Le Pass, ensuring traffic safety and creating favorable conditions for rescue work, while closely monitoring the rain situation and being ready to promptly respond to new incidents.
