(Chinhphu.vn) - Comrade Le Hong Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, has just been elected by the Quang Tri Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

On the afternoon of November 17, the People's Council of Quang Tri province held the 4th session of the 8th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.

At the meeting, the People's Council of Quang Tri province elected comrade Le Hong Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province for the 2021-2026 term.

At the same time, delegates also voted to elect comrade Le Van Bao, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, term 2021-2026.

Also at this session, the People's Council of Quang Tri province considered dismissing comrade Tran Phong from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee because he transferred to a new job and took on a new assignment.

On the morning of November 17, the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Secretariat's decision on personnel work.

At the conference, the representative of the Central Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Secretariat on appointing comrade Le Hong Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, to cease participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and cease holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; to transfer and appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
