Prosecution of the case, prosecution of the accused against Le Trung Khoa and accomplices

(Chinhphu.vn) - The Security Investigation Agency - Ministry of Public Security has initiated a case of "Making, storing, disseminating, and propagating information, documents, and items aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam".

The investigation results of the case have sufficient grounds to determine that Le Trung Khoa (born September 23, 1971 in Thanh Hoa; Nationality: Vietnam; Ethnicity: Kinh; Place of permanent residence registration: No. 01, Lane 81, Lang Street, Dong Da Ward, Hanoi City) and Do Van Nga (born August 15, 1977 in Gia Lai; Nationality: Vietnam; Ethnicity: Kinh; Place of permanent residence registration: Tuy Phuoc Dong Commune, Gia Lai Province) have committed acts of making, storing, disseminating, and propagating information, documents, and items aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

On November 17, 2025, the Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency issued a Decision to prosecute and an Order to arrest Le Trung Khoa and Do Van Nga for the crime of "Making, storing, disseminating or propagating information, documents and items against the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" as prescribed in Article 117 of the Penal Code. The Supreme People's Procuracy approved the Decision to prosecute and an Order to arrest Le Trung Khoa and Do Van Nga for the above-mentioned purposes.

Currently, the Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency is coordinating with the Supreme People's Procuracy to investigate and clarify the case and the defendants' criminal acts for handling according to the law.
