Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang Memorial House welcomed 3 times more visitors.

A representative of the People's Committee of Thanh Tung commune said that due to the approaching 120th anniversary of the birth of Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang (April 2, 1904 - April 2, 2024), the memorial house in Thanh Tung commune welcomed a sudden increase in the number of tourists.

Tourists visit the memorial house of Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang to offer incense and pay their respects to the loyal revolutionary soldier, the beloved "Elder Brother"; and learn about his life, career and feelings for his homeland and country.

Among the more than 600 people and tourists who came to visit and offer incense, there were more than 200 tourists from other provinces and international tourists. To ensure security, order and safety for visitors, the relic has increased security and guidance forces. The locality has also completed the lighting system on the main road leading to the relic to make it more convenient for vehicles to travel at night.

The memorial house of Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang was built in Dong village, Thanh Tung commune in late 1995, in the village stadium area, a historical site in the August Revolution of 1945. On September 6, 1996, the memorial house was inaugurated and officially put into operation. The exhibition outline includes three main topics: introducing the hometown, family and childhood of Mr. Nguyen Luong Bang; the life and career of Mr. Nguyen Luong Bang; the economic and cultural achievements of Thanh Tung commune and the affection of the homeland for Mr. Nguyen Luong Bang.

After 28 years, this place has become a red address, a typical cultural institution with the deepest educational significance, especially for the young generation in and outside the province. Hai Duong province is always aware of paying attention, investing, and taking care to promote the value of the project. In early 2024, Hai Duong province organized restoration and embellishment to make the relic site more spacious, large-scale, and majestic. Many valuable documents, artifacts, and images about him have also been collected and gradually added to the exhibition space.
