25 years a journey
On December 5, 2000, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province issued Decision No. 3802/QD-UB on promulgating regulations for the Nguyen Luong Bang Press Award. The award is named after the exemplary, loyal soldier, famous revolutionary activist Nguyen Luong Bang, a son of Hai Duong and founder of Cong Nong newspaper - the first revolutionary newspaper in the province. The decision clearly stated: "The Nguyen Luong Bang Press Award must ensure publicity, objectivity, accuracy, and at the same time encourage and motivate journalists to continue to strive, promote the revolutionary movement, towards the goal of building Hai Duong homeland rich, strong, fair, democratic, and civilized".
The Nguyen Luong Bang Journalism Award is considered every 5 years, has gone through 25 years with 6 seasons, and is still the highest journalism award in the province. The award is a source of encouragement and strong motivation for the team of reporters to compete, constantly cultivate, improve, and improve their skills to create journalistic works. From there, contributing to the construction and socio -economic development of the province. And for every journalist in the East, everyone wishes to be honored at this journalism award.
Through 6 award rounds, the organizing committee has received more than 1,000 works from nearly 600 authors. To ensure fairness, objectivity and openness, the organizing committee also encourages the participation of authors from outside the province whose works are about Hai Duong, including works that have won awards in other provinces, the central government, and internationally...
