The Dien Chau - Bai Vot expressway section through Nghe An, part of the North - South expressway project, was simultaneously constructed on the 4th day of Tet. This is a project that passes through Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces. All routes and bottlenecks of the project were deployed by units from 7am on the 4th day of Tet. Previously, from the 2nd day of Tet, the project's critical points such as Than Vu tunnel, Than Vu 2 bridge... were assigned to work throughout Tet.
Construction workers, officers and employees were also honored to receive encouragement and attention from leaders of the Provincial People's Council and business leaders.

Colonel Le Minh Duc - Director of Truong Son II Management Board under Truong Son Construction Corporation said: The project's completion date on April 30, 2024 is a very tight schedule, so Truong Son Construction Corporation and the Management Board have directed units to take advantage of favorable weather to construct in 3 shifts and 4 shifts to make up for the slow progress due to the weather. On the days before the Giap Thin New Year, the Management Board has issued a document directing units to stay at the construction site throughout the New Year to speed up the progress (only arrange days off on the 29th and 30th of the 12th lunar month and the first day of the Giap Thin New Year).

Previously, from the morning of the 2nd day of Tet, the units maintained the construction teams to unload, complete the K95 foundation, fill the drainage culverts with granular materials, fill the K98 soil on the roadbed, cover the curbs, cover the roadbeds of the sections where C19 asphalt concrete has been completed, spread the cement-reinforced aggregate foundation, spread asphalt concrete, and construct the concrete railings of Than Vu 2 Bridge and O O Bridge. 120 officers, engineers, workers and 100 vehicles with equipment were fully prepared and had a serious working spirit.
By the 5th day of Tet, the production value of Army Corps 12 (Truong Son Construction Corporation) in package XL 2 had reached 1,054/1,289 billion VND, equivalent to 81.7% of the contract value. The Executive Board is directing the units to accelerate further to strive to spread the last batches of asphalt concrete before April 15, 2024.

As for Than Vu 2 Bridge and O O Bridge (Nghi Loc area), which are identified as the critical paths of the XL2 package, up to now, Truong Son Construction Corporation has basically mastered the progress. Than Vu 2 Bridge has installed girders and constructed the bridge deck of 28/32 spans with a value of 296.79 billion/323.92 billion, reaching 91.6%. It is expected that the girder casting work will be completed before February 29, 2024, the girder installation work and the bridge deck construction will be completed before March 31, 2024, and the bridge railing before April 10, 2024. O O Bridge has installed girders and the bridge deck of 21/22 spans with a production value of 196.42 billion/210.4 billion VND, reaching 93.33%; Beam casting reached 154/154 slabs, reaching 100%, expected to complete beam, bridge deck, and railing installation before March 10, 2024.

At other routes such as Than Vu and Hung Yen Nam tunnels, Len Doi mine... Hoa Hiep Company Limited and other units are speeding up construction with many motorbikes and human resources to catch up with the delayed progress.
In Hung Yen Nam, after taking over the contract of a business that did not continue to implement, Hoa Hiep Company Limited focused on building roads and bridges here and proceeded to pour asphalt concrete.

At Than Vu tunnel, the workload is still very large, so the construction forces do not rest during Tet. With the complexity of the geological layer, water from the mountain roof flows down like rain, making the construction work difficult. The forces both cover the tunnel with waterproof plastic and create concrete molds to support the project. The construction of the tunnel shell with sliding formwork is carried out by professional engineers and workers. The tunnel branches are also connected to each other for convenient movement and to prevent incidents.
The commander of Than Vu tunnel project - Mr. Vo Son Hai said that each day the unit casts 12 m of concrete tunnel, and this stage is expected to be completed by the end of March 2024. After that, the construction of the tunnel, tunnel roof, and outer mountain roof will begin...
According to observations, there are about 15 motorbikes working with hundreds of engineers. This is an important item on the route so the companies are paying close attention to the implementation to ensure the project is safe and permanent.
Although the entire route has been deployed, to ensure progress, units still need to speed up, especially Than Vu tunnel, Than Vu 2 bridge... according to the request of the Ministry of Transport .

Previously, to ensure safe travel for people before, during and after Tet, the unit has quickly completed and put into use the N5 expressway overpass in Nghi Loc section, thanks to which, vehicles do not have to take detours or bypasses, wasting time and greatly reducing dust and smoke. This is a great effort of the unit in the current period.
