Dong Nai supports Quang Tri with 45 billion VND to build the church of Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh

On September 13, the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee delegation led by Mr. Vu Hong Van, Provincial Party Committee Secretary and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, visited and worked with Quang Tri province and presented financial support to build the Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh church.

At the meeting, Quang Tri Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang said: In the new term, Quang Tri strives to become a new energy center and a new tourism center of the region and the whole country.

According to Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, to achieve these goals, in addition to the support of the Central Government, Quang Tri province thanks the attention and companionship of localities in socio-economic development, including Dong Nai province. We hope to learn valuable experiences from Dong Nai in attracting investment projects and promoting socio-economic development.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Vu Hong Van, Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, expressed his emotions when visiting and paying tribute to heroic martyrs at "red addresses" in Quang Tri province.

After grasping information about the socio-economic development situation of Quang Tri province, the Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee shared: Quang Tri is a land of talented people, a place that suffered many pains and losses during the war, but with the spirit of solidarity and efforts of the Party Committee, government and people, the locality has gradually developed and achieved many outstanding results.

Mr. Vu Hong Van expressed that with natural conditions, geo-economic position, and increasingly complete traffic infrastructure system, Quang Tri has all the conditions to become a center for energy and tourism development, becoming a developed province in the region.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province provided financial support of 45 billion VND for Quang Tri province to build a temple for Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh - a man who contributed to expanding the territory to the South, including Dong Nai province today, and was respected by the people and built a temple to worship him.

Le Thanh Marquis Nguyen Huu Canh (born in 1650, in Phuc Tin village, Phong Loc district, Quang Binh province), now in Truong Ninh commune, Quang Tri province. In the year of Mau Dan 1698, he was appointed Commander-in-Chief by Lord Nguyen, sent to oversee Dong Nai, Saigon, and Ben Nghe.

With the courage of a person who had fought in the battlefield, Nguyen Huu Canh encouraged and motivated soldiers and residents to overcome all difficulties and shortages, outlined urgent plans, continuously carried out land reclamation, settled borders, protected the people and new lands...
