Dong Nai launched a campaign to give health insurance cards to the poor.

(DN) - On October 31, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Provincial Social Insurance Lang Quang Vinh signed and issued the plan of Dong Nai Provincial Social Insurance to launch the program "Giving health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances, bringing a warm Tet to the poor in the Spring of Binh Ngo".

The program aims to spread the spirit of “Mutual love”, “The rich help the poor” and respond to the emulation movement “The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind”. Thereby, helping people in difficult circumstances have the opportunity to access high-quality medical services, health care when sick, reduce economic burden, ensure social security. At the same time, towards the goal of universal health insurance.

Dong Nai Provincial Social Insurance calls for participation and support from agencies, units, businesses and philanthropists from now until November 28, 2025.

Dong Nai province currently has nearly 4.5 million people. By the end of September 2025, the whole province had nearly 3.8 million people participating in health insurance, accounting for 90.3% of the population. To achieve the assigned target, from now until the end of 2025, Dong Nai needs to develop more than 430 thousand people to participate in health insurance.

In fact, participating in health insurance brings many benefits to people, especially when they are sick or ill. According to statistics from the Social Insurance sector, up to now, Dong Nai Social Insurance has signed contracts for health insurance examination and treatment with 145 medical facilities in the province. In the past 9 months, more than 7.72 million people have participated in health insurance examination and treatment at medical facilities, and the Health Insurance Fund has paid more than 3.7 trillion VND.
