Binh Dinh: Hydropower project worth over 737 billion VND has been completed and put into commercial operation.
The Nuoc Luong Hydropower Plant Project invested by Nuoc Luong Hydropower Joint Stock Company with a total investment capital of more than 737 billion VND, installed capacity of 22 MW has been completed and put into commercial operation.

According to information from the Central Power Corporation, the Nuoc Luong Hydropower Plant Project in Binh Dinh Province has been completed and officially put into commercial operation. The project has a total investment of 737,626 billion VND.
Specifically, on March 21, 2024, the Central Power Corporation issued a document agreeing on the commercial operation date and official power generation from 1:30 p.m. on February 24, 2024 for the Nuoc Luong Hydropower Plant Project.
The Nuoc Luong Hydropower Plant Project is invested by Nuoc Luong Hydropower Joint Stock Company, located in Dak Mang and An Son communes, Hoai An district, Binh Dinh province; with a capacity of 22 MW (including 2 generators with a capacity of 11 MW each). The main dam is built on Dak Mang stream and 2 auxiliary dams are built on Nuoc Trong stream and Nuoc Luong stream.
Electricity generated from the plant will be connected to the national grid via the 110 kV line, connecting to the transition at column 45 on the 110 kV Vinh Son - Hoai Nhon line, double circuit with a length of 10.1 km. The expected electricity output is about 68.39 million kWh/year.
The project started in May 2022. By February 2024, the entire project was completed, and the construction items were carried out by specialized acceptance councils in accordance with regulations. The 72-hour operation acceptance of the two units was completed at 1:30 p.m. on February 24, 2024.
According to Binh Dinh Provincial Planning, the Nuoc Luong Hydropower Project will increase its installed capacity from 22 MW to 27 MW.
