Analyzing the reasons for the sharp increase in international tourist arrivals in November 2024, Chairman of the Hanoi Tourism Association Nguyen Manh Than said that the sharp increase in the number of visitors last November was not unusual. Because Vietnam is in the "main season" of peak international tourist arrivals, from October to March every year.

In addition, the open visa policy and promotional activities organized by the tourism industry in recent times have stimulated international visitors to Vietnam in the last months of the year. "With the number of international visitors to Vietnam in November increasing the most since the beginning of the year, the tourism industry is expected to complete the target of welcoming 17-18 million international visitors in 2024," Mr. Nguyen Manh Than stated.
