Attending the book launch were artists, poets, journalists from Hue city, Quang Nam province and Da Nang city, along with many Da Nang students.
Sharing about their creative journey, both journalists Tran Tuan and Ho Tan Vu hope that readers, literature lovers, especially students, will receive and understand the work from their perspective.
On the journey of thousands of miles of words, for journalism, these are practical experiences, journalistic works with strong topicality, but for literary works, these are lessons, experiences, and experiences that authors have gone through, or are looking towards to convey many aspirations.

Journalist and poet Tran Tuan has published 6 works including poetry, character memoirs, and travel memoirs. Among them, his poetry collection Finger Magic (Writers Association Publishing House, 2008) won first prize at the first Bach Viet Poetry Award in 2009.
Talking about the poetry collection "What is life, I have forgotten for so long", poet Tran Tuan confided: The way readers approach literary works today is very different from the past and for a creator, once a work has been born, the author no longer has the power to control how it is received. And the work must be received and accepted by readers with their own intuition, regardless of the author's original intention.
“ The old reception theories are no longer suitable, instead there is a new, more flexible approach. The reception of texts is no longer bound by theories, but becomes freer. With the poetry collection "What is life, long forgotten", I want to convey more than what remains", poet Tran Tuan shared.

Journalist Ho Tan Vu shares about the novel “Foggy Area, Deep Tunnel and Deserted Island”. (Photo: ANH DAO) |
As for journalist Ho Tan Vu, this is his first book, with a proper journey of literary labor. The first novel titled “Foggy Area, Deep Tunnel and Deserted Island” is 400 pages thick, which is a slice of the author’s contemplation about his homeland, friends, difficulties, and ups and downs of a life.
With the experience of a journalist, Ho Tan Vu has a way of conveying living material into his work in a neat, unforced way that is easy to read, engaging and evokes many ambiguous meanings.
“It took me 6 months to complete this work. I wrote nearly 1,000 words every day and set a discipline for myself to complete it and not give up. During this time, I struggled and clearly defined each character, structure, and sequenced each story to be able to convey my story. For me or anyone else, homeland is an obsession, and homeland is the core that contributes to determining a person's personality and inner self. I hope the work adds a perspective on life and if someone reads the work and sees a little bit of themselves in it, to me, that is the happiest thing,” journalist Ho Tan Vu shared more.

The book launch of the two journalists received the attention of many students in Da Nang. This is also a way to spread the value of reading literature, build reading habits and bring literary works closer to readers.
Dang Thi Ha, a student of CL24D class, Chinese Language Department, Dong A University, shared: "This is the second time I have participated in the introduction of such meaningful literary works. What is special is that the authors of these two works of poetry and novels are famous journalists. For students majoring in linguistics like me, being able to access literary and historical works is very valuable and useful."

Meanwhile, Phan Bao Nam, a student at Nguyen Hien High School (Hai Chau District, Da Nang City) shared that he learned about the book launch and the interaction with the authors from a group of friends studying social sciences and came to participate.
“If I read the work, I would have a different perception, but when I directly heard the two journalists confide in me about the work, I understood more about the process of creating a work,” Bao Nam said.
