The magazine was fined 65 million VND for publishing false information, causing serious damage in the article "Commander" of the Industry and Trade sector: Many outstanding achievements and many subordinates were arrested and disciplined" published on May 21, 2024.

The Inspector of the Ministry of Information and Communications requested that within 2 days from the date of receiving the above decision, Brand and Public Opinion Magazine must correct, apologize and remove false information posted and broadcast on the electronic magazine.

In addition, Brand and Public Opinion Magazine must also report the results of implementing remedial measures to the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Information and Communications within 5 days from the date of receipt of the Decision on administrative sanctions.
