Five years ago, after the brave final match of the 2018 U.23 Asian Cup under the "snowstorm" in Changzhou (China) between U.23 Vietnam and U.23 Uzbekistan, the image of Duy Manh planting the Vietnamese flag on the white snow touched the hearts of millions of fans. That moment was recreated on the evening of March 15.

Before that, another star of Hanoi FC - midfielder Hai Long also recreated the historic moment with a goal against Thailand in the second leg of the 2024 ASEAN Cup final, sealing a 3-2 victory for Vietnam. On March 15, there was a sacred moment when more than 15,000 people sang the Vietnamese National Anthem together, setting a Vietnam Guinness record for the largest number of people singing the National Anthem at a corporate event. Notably, the family of the late musician Van Cao - the author of the National Anthem also attended this event.

Another highlight of the ceremony was the fire-requesting ceremony and torch-carrying ceremony from Hung Temple to light the fire at My Dinh Stadium. Two-time Vietnam Golden Ball winner Nguyen Van Quyet was one of the members participating in the torch-carrying journey.
