Ms. Vy said that she and her colleagues at Echotech participated in many programs and events related to green transformation, sustainable development and followed a lot of information in the press. She realized that the community is very interested in waste, garbage collection activities at beaches, lakes, and canals attract a lot of young people to participate. However, people cannot carry out such activities regularly, there must be a way to treat waste at the source, waste also has value if we know how to recycle and use it properly.

"Once, we went to a tourist area in Phu Yen and saw a bag woven from old fishing nets of fishermen. I was interested in this product, the idea of ​​developing a project related to net bags came to mind because a product with such a high impact on the community like this cannot just play the role of a souvenir product of a tourist area, it must be known and used more widely" - Ms. Vy said.

Recycle to Regenerate

Ms. Vy said that before starting, she had to experience the functionality of this mesh bag. At first, she used it to go to the market and limited the number of plastic bags like normal days. It is estimated that every day she limits the use of at least 5 plastic bags in each shopping trip, each month this number is up to nearly 200.

From that effectiveness, Ms. Vy and her colleagues at Echotech spread the story to their family, friends, and acquaintances to experience this recycled mesh bag. Many people were excited about this convenient and meaningful product. Many agencies and units have joined in using mesh bags as gifts for partners and customers. Among them, there are Quang Nam College, Van Chuong Dental Clinic (Tam Ky City), Global Management Consulting and Capacity Transfer Company Limited in Da Nang, Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research - University of Technical Education - Da Nang University, Da Nang Women's Union, Tam Ky Women's Union and clubs, groups of entrepreneurs and businesses.
