EVNCPC: Spreading the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025

In the 2020-2024 period, EVNCPC has made great strides in improving the reliability of power supply.

Outstanding production and business efficiency

In the period of 2020-2024, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, EVNCPC has constantly innovated, created and achieved many outstanding results in all aspects of operation.

Notably, the Corporation has always focused on investing in and modernizing power source and distribution grid facilities, completing 2,511 projects, an average of 502 projects/year, starting 74 projects and energizing 77 110kV projects. The total investment capital is VND 29,920 billion, contributing to ensuring safe and continuous power supply for more than 4.5 million households in the Central Highlands region.

Among them are a series of important 110kV power grid projects ensuring power supply to areas with high load growth (such as Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa...), especially the project to supply power to Nhon Chau island commune (Binh Dinh) by submarine cable - a project of economic , national defense and people's livelihood significance.

For 5 consecutive years, EVNCPC has always exceeded the targets and tasks assigned by EVN and localities. Commercial electricity output increased by an average of 8.01% per year, and electricity loss decreased steadily over the years, reaching only 3.65% in 2024.

In addition, EVNCPC has implemented many solutions, applied science and technology in operating and repairing the power grid, proactively invested in renovating the power grid system... to gradually improve the reliability of power supply. The power supply reliability indexes (SAIDI, SAIFI, MAIFI) all reached and exceeded the plan assigned by EVN, demonstrating the continuous improvement of management and operation capacity.

For example, in 2024, the 110kV power grid recorded only 4 incidents out of a total of 4,238.9 km of lines across 13 provinces/cities in the Central Highlands region, a decrease of 39 incidents compared to 2021, equivalent to a 91% reduction in the number of incidents.

By the end of 2024, the total grid volume managed and operated by EVNCPC includes 4,260 km of 110kV lines, 158 110kV-8,817 MVA substations, 32,990 km of medium-voltage lines, 51,870 km of low-voltage lines, 33,679 load substations with a capacity of 8,089 MVA. The rate of households with electricity from the national grid in the Central Highlands region is 99.91%.

Efforts to bring light to people in mountainous areas.

The emulation movement spread widely and enthusiastically in the Corporation.

EVNCPC leaders said that the outstanding achievements that EVNCPC has achieved in recent times have many causes, including practical contributions from the patriotic emulation movement.

The emulation movement in EVNCPC has become a typical cultural feature, spreading widely and associated with production and business efficiency. Movements such as "Completely complete key tasks", "No 110kV substation incidents", "Reduce power loss", "Implement cost savings", etc. have created a vibrant competitive atmosphere throughout the Corporation. Some units have effectively implemented emulation movements such as PC Da Nang , PC Dak Lak, PC Gia Lai, etc.

In addition, EVNCPC applies a modern KPI system to evaluate from the Corporation level to each officer and employee, ensuring fairness, transparency and promoting personal responsibility. Through the application of emulation/KPI evaluation, emulation and reward work is both a driving force for development and one of the effective management measures to promote production and business, contributing to EVNCPC's excellent completion of the tasks assigned by superiors.

In 5 years, EVNCPC has spent nearly 100 billion VND to reward outstanding collectives and individuals, motivating employees to complete assigned tasks and plans. EVNCPC has received many noble awards: Excellent Emulation Flag of the Prime Minister; First Class Labor Medal; Emulation Flag of EVN; Excellent Emulation Flag of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises, Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs...

In addition, EVNCPC is also a pioneer in innovation and application of new technology with 1,300 innovations, 19 Vifotec awards and 3 "Make by EVN" products. The total value of benefits from innovations during the period reached more than 59 billion VND.

EVNCPC leaders affirmed: "In the coming period, the Corporation will maintain and expand patriotic emulation movements, spread the spirit of overcoming difficulties and creativity in all units and individuals to successfully achieve the goals set by the Corporation in 2025 and the 5-year period of 2025-2029; determined to build EVNCPC to develop more and more, ensure energy security, actively contribute to the cause of socio-economic construction and development, and maintain national security and defense in the Central Highlands region".
