Inspired by Tan Trao - a special land in the history of Vietnam's revolution, the exhibition space with 4 themed areas, introduces 80 paintings combined from more than 200 photos including historical documents, photos of relics at ATK Viet Bac, images of the headquarters of ministries, departments and branches today in Hanoi - agencies originating from Tan Trao in the pre-uprising period and the resistance war against the French colonialists.

“The journey following Uncle Ho’s footsteps” is the opening space, recreating the journey to find a way to save the country of the young man Nguyen Tat Thanh from the first steps leaving Nha Rong port on a summer day in 1911 to begin the great journey through nearly 30 countries.
With the name Nguyen Ai Quoc, he approached Marxism-Leninism, identifying the proletarian revolutionary path as the inevitable path for the Vietnamese people. Returning to Pac Bo, Cao Bang in 1941, he directly led the revolutionary movement in the country. Each page of photos recalls his arduous years on the path to find a way for the nation.
Facing the great opportunity of the revolution, in May 1945, President Ho Chi Minh left Pac Bo, Cao Bang for Tan Trao, Tuyen Quang. From here, Tan Trao - the capital of the liberated zone - became the highest command center of the General Uprising to seize power.
The exhibition area with the theme “The National Congress of Tan Trao – Establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam” gathers precious documentary photos of a Congress of historical stature, the boiling atmosphere during the August Revolution and the important milestone on September 2, 1945 when President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
During the years of fighting against the French colonialists, Tan Trao was once again chosen to become a revolutionary base. From important conferences to make strategic decisions to leisurely moments of physical exercise, from days and nights of “digging mountains and sleeping in tunnels” to simple meals in the mountains and forests,… each photo in the exhibition area “Resistance Capital – Heroic Land” is a vivid slice of history – where Tan Trao became the center of resistance command and the spiritual support of the entire nation.
Not only reminding about history, "Tan Trao - the birthplace of the Fatherland, 80 years of the origin of the Vietnamese revolution" also vividly depicts the journey of maturity of the revolutionary government from resistance to construction, from hardship to sustainable development.

At the exhibition area “Revolutionary Government from the founding days”, the photos connect the past with the present through images of important agencies in their early days in the Viet Bac resistance base, to the relics of these agencies in Tuyen Quang and the present-day spacious headquarters in Hanoi.
“Tan Trao – the birthplace of the Fatherland, 80 years of the origin of the Vietnamese revolution” was held on the premises of Flamingo Heritage Onsen & Resort – a resort located in the center of Tan Trao heritage area, developed by Flamingo Holdings with the goal of opening a new chapter for the tourism industry of the beautiful and traditional land of Tuyen Quang.
“We wish to bring a sacred touch point between the present and the past. The exhibition space is not only a place to tell history, but also to arouse pride and inspire today's generation to continue the aspiration to build the country, as the previous generation started from Tan Trao.” – representative of Flamingo Holdings shared.
The exhibition space is completely open to the public and visitors free of charge. In addition to the exhibition activities, Flamingo Holdings also regularly organizes tours to the Tan Trao National Special Monument, combined with a series of cultural and artistic activities imbued with the identity of the Northeast highlands such as Then singing and Tinh lute performances on Pho Day River, reenacting traditional festivals, etc. to bring emotional experiences to visitors from all over.
