Nearly 1,000 volunteers from Ha Nam University of Industry participated in blood donation

Responding to the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day (April 7), on April 9, the Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with Hanoi University of Industry, Ha Nam campus to organize the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival 2025.

Many volunteers have their health checked before donating blood.

The festival attracted nearly 1,000 volunteers who are staff, lecturers and students to register to donate blood. In order for the blood donation festival to take place safely and in accordance with regulations, the Organizing Committee has done a good job of propaganda and mobilizing volunteers to follow the correct blood donation procedures. Along with that, volunteers were checked for health through screening, blood pressure measurement, blood tests; supported with light meals after donating blood and received a Certificate of participation in voluntary blood donation...

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society encouraged volunteers to participate in voluntary blood donation.

Through the festival, the Organizing Committee collected 876 units of safe blood, contributing significantly to supplementing blood reserves for emergency and patient treatment at medical facilities.
