Nearly 1,200 shippers and motorbike taxi drivers violated traffic laws in just 1 month

On the afternoon of June 18, the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) announced that in the past month, the authorities have detected nearly 1,200 cases of traffic violations, mainly involving shippers and technology-based motorbike taxi drivers, and have implemented propaganda measures and signed commitments to tighten traffic discipline and order.

Accordingly, from May 15 to now, the authorities have propagated through social networks, television and coordinated with technology transportation enterprises to organize the signing of commitments for more than 1,800 shippers and nearly 700 technology motorbike taxi drivers, requiring compliance with traffic laws.

Traffic police force strictly handles all cases showing signs of violations.

Through inspections, the national traffic police force discovered nearly 500 shippers violating the law, including 6 cases of alcohol violations, 8 cases of running red lights or not obeying traffic signals... At the same time, nearly 700 technology motorbike taxi drivers were discovered violating the law, including 4 cases of alcohol violations and 3 people tested positive for drugs. A total of 11 violating vehicles were temporarily detained.
