Meeting with outstanding veterans who participated in the resistance war against America

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the morning of April 25, in Buon Ma Thuot City, the Provincial Veterans Association held a meeting with outstanding veterans who participated in the resistance war against the US.

Attending the meeting were Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nguyen Hoai Duong; leaders of the provincial Veterans Association and 160 outstanding veterans in the anti-American resistance war currently living in the province.

During the resistance war against the US to save the country, generations of war veterans fought on fierce battlefields and on many fronts. Returning to normal life, regardless of their positions, war veterans have promoted the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, contributing much to building a strong political system and building Dak Lak province into a rich, civilized, and unique one.

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nguyen Hoai Duong presented gifts of gratitude to outstanding veterans at the meeting.

In a warm atmosphere, full of comradeship, the delegates reviewed the heroic and indomitable tradition of our army and people in the resistance war against the US; and watched historical documentary footage about the Ho Chi Minh campaign, liberating the South and reunifying the country.

Speaking at the meeting, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Hoai Duong expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions of generations of cadres and members of the provincial War Veterans Association in general and the War Veterans who participated in the anti-American resistance war in particular. The War Veterans not only contributed to the work of building and implementing the political tasks of the War Veterans Association but also served as role models and living witnesses, contributingto educating the revolutionary tradition for the younger generation; and were role models of morality and lifestyle for their children and grandchildren in the family and the people to learn and follow.

At the same time, we believe and hope that the war veterans will continue to promote the tradition and spirit of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", do well in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; be the core, proactively and actively participate in patriotic emulation movements to build the homeland; always unite, support and help each other; be a shining example, a solid spiritual support to educate the younger generation, contributing to building the homeland and the country increasingly rich and strong...
