Meeting to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Quang Ninh Department of Foreign Affairs

On April 11, the Department of Foreign Affairs of Quang Ninh held a meeting to celebrate its 20th anniversary (2005-2025). Comrade Cao Tuong Huy, member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended and spoke at the meeting.

Over 20 years of operation, under the comprehensive and direct leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee, the Department of Foreign Affairs of Quang Ninh has constantly strived to develop; vigorously implementing foreign affairs activities in the province in both breadth and depth, implementing the innovation initiated and led by our Party, joining the flow of integration and development. The Department of Foreign Affairs of Quang Ninh has gradually affirmed itself as a core force leading the international integration process with outstanding achievements, contributing to the completion of the province's socio -economic development targets in each period.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and praised the achievements of the Department of Foreign Affairs over the past 20 years. He requested the Department of Foreign Affairs to continue to be more active and proactive in advising the provincial leaders to deploy local foreign affairs activities. In particular, promoting cultural diplomacy , economic diplomacy, foreign information...; advising on maintaining friendly neighborly relations, mutually beneficial cooperation with localities of China and with 3 provinces of Laos. Improving professional qualifications, skills, international integration for cadres and civil servants, especially young civil servants. Maintaining close relations between the Department of Foreign Affairs, Quang Ninh province and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, affiliated agencies, and Vietnamese representative agencies abroad. Promote the image, potential, strengths, mechanisms, and investment needs of the locality to foreign partners and international tourists, and promote cooperation to attract resources for socio-economic development.
