Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of May 15, 2025 |
According to experts, domestic coffee prices are currently strongly affected by international market developments, especially from Brazil - the world's leading coffee producing country.
In that context, the domestic coffee market is likely to continue to experience a short-term adjustment period, before establishing a clearer trend in the coming time. Investors and coffee traders are advised to be cautious and closely monitor factors from the international market to make appropriate moves.
Meanwhile, in the futures market, selling intensified amid improved supply forecasts from major producing regions. In Brazil, favorable weather continued to bolster expectations for the upcoming robusta and arabica harvests.
Arabica coffee inventories in New York are also at a three-month high, adding pressure to futures prices. Meanwhile, international traders said that if the sell-off continues this week, coffee prices may correct further before establishing a new support zone.
Brazil’s green coffee exports in April fell 29.1% year-on-year to 2.78 million bags, the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Association (Cecafé) said. Of these, Arabica exports fell 17.4% to 2.68 million bags, while Robusta exports plunged to 103,577 bags – less than one-sixth of the same month last year, a decline of 84.9%.
