Robusta coffee prices fell sharply on the London floor

Coffee prices today show an unfavorable trend for Robusta. At the end of the trading session last night and early morning of November 25 (Vietnam time), Robusta prices on the London floor decreased from 38 to 53 USD/ton.

At the reference term, Robusta for January 2026 delivery fell by $53 per ton to $4,453 per ton. This is a significant drop after a series of stable days, putting pressure on the domestic market.

According to forecasts, domestic Robusta prices today may decrease from the average of 111,900 VND/kg of the previous day. The latest record shows that Lam Dong has the lowest price of 111,000 VND/kg, while Dak Lak has the highest price of 112,000 VND/kg.

Arabica coffee prices jumped sharply on the New York floor

In contrast to Robusta, Arabica coffee prices increased sharply. On the New York floor, Arabica prices increased from 130 to 170 USD/ton in the latest trading session.

The December 2025 delivery futures increased by $170/ton to $8,980/ton, showing that global demand for Arabica is increasing rapidly.

In the domestic market, Arabica continues to set new records. In Lam Dong , many agents bought fresh Arabica for over 30,000 VND/kg, the highest price reached 34,000 VND/kg thanks to a sudden increase in purchasing power. The price of green Arabica beans also exceeded 200,000 VND/kg, an unprecedented level.

Coffee production and processing have increased in value over the past two years.

In the past two years, the sharp increase in coffee prices has helped farmers reinvest, take better care of their gardens, and improve quality and output. Positive signals from the market have caused many Arabica growing areas to shift to improving processing standards.

The development of specialty Arabica coffee also contributes to pushing up prices, making Vietnamese Arabica appear more on the world's quality coffee map.
