Coffee price assessment and forecast
In the short term, domestic coffee prices are likely to hover around 117,500 - 119,500 VND/kg, depending on harvest progress and supply capacity from dealers.
If the weather is favorable and supply increases rapidly, prices may fall slightly.
Conversely, low inventories on the London and New York exchanges, combined with still-high export demand, could help prices maintain a high base.
Farmers should pay attention to drying according to standards, avoid selling quickly when the humidity is not up to standard, to optimize profits. Exporting enterprises need to monitor the difference (basis) with the London floor to set the price of each lot in accordance with the export plan.
