Today, November 9th, rice prices in the Mekong Delta region increased for both paddy and milled rice. Paddy prices rose by 100 VND/kg, and milled rice prices increased by 50 VND/kg. Trading was quiet.
According to an update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, today's rice prices have been adjusted compared to yesterday. IR 50404 is priced at 7,300 – 7,500 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice is priced at 8,200 – 8,400 VND/kg, an increase of 100 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice is at 7,300 – 7,500 VND/kg; OM 18 rice is priced at 8,200 – 8,400 VND/kg; OM 380 rice fluctuates between 6,800 – 7,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice is priced at 8,400 – 8,600 VND/kg; Nhat rice is at 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg and Nang Nhen (dried) rice is at 20,000 VND/kg.

In the rice market, in Hau Giang and Long An provinces, rice transactions were slow, the supply was low, and prices remained stable.
In addition, the glutinous rice market remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Long An IR 4625 glutinous rice (fresh) was priced at 7,800 – 7,900 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday. Long An IR 4625 glutinous rice (dried) was priced at 9,600 – 9,800 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday.
In the rice market, localities such as An Giang and Dong Thap have observed slow transactions, cautious purchasing by warehouses, low supply, and stable rice prices.
On the rice market, prices have adjusted compared to yesterday. Currently, the price of IR 504 summer-autumn raw rice is at 10,400 – 10,550 VND/kg, an increase of 50 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Meanwhile, the price of finished IR 504 rice remains stable at 12,400 – 12,550 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Regarding by-products, the prices of various by-products range from 6,900 to 9,500 VND/kg. Currently, the price of OM 5451 broken rice is 9,300 – 9,500 VND/kg; the price of dry rice bran is 6,900 – 7,050 VND/kg.
On the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 100% broken rice was priced at US$427/ton; standard 5% broken rice at US$524/ton; and 25% broken rice at US$495/ton.
