Industrial and handicraft production value reached over 42.8% of the year plan.

(CT) - According to the People's Committee of Cai Rang District, in April 2025, the value of industrial and handicraft production (at current prices) of the district reached nearly 1,850 billion VND, down 3.78% compared to the previous month and up 6.34% over the same period. Accumulated from the beginning of the year to now, more than 7,526 billion VND has been achieved, up 20.98% over the same period, reaching 42.81% of the yearly plan.

In the coming time, the district will continue to implement Directive No. 13/CT-UBND dated May 7, 2024 of the Chairman of the City People's Committee on strengthening support, removing difficulties and obstacles to promote industrial production in the city; effectively implement the project "Developing the specialized processing industry of Can Tho City to 2025, with a vision to 2030" and the plan to develop supporting industries in Can Tho City in 2025. At the same time, increase investment attraction, support investors, implement and improve the quality of the investment and business environment; coordinate to call for businesses to invest in industrial parks in the area; guide businesses to register for protection and develop intellectual property, etc.
