At 9:15 a.m. on April 10, SJC gold price was listed by businesses at 66.35 million VND/tael for buying and 66.95 million VND/tael for selling, down 100,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday.
The price of jewelry gold and 24K gold rings of all kinds was adjusted to decrease more sharply to 55.35 million VND/tael for buying, 56.35 million VND/tael for selling, "evaporating" to 350,000 VND/tael.
Thus, today's gold price in the domestic market went down with both SJC gold and ring gold. The difference in the buying and selling price of SJC gold continued to be kept by businesses at 600,000 VND/tael while ring gold widened to 1 million VND/tael.
Gold price today decreased again for both SJC gold and world gold
In the international market, the price of gold also fell sharply again today, falling below the $2,000/ounce range as the new trading week opened. At 9:15 a.m. Vietnam time, the world gold price was trading at $1,995/ounce, down about $13/ounce compared to the closing price at the end of last week.
According to analysts, gold prices may stay around $2,000/ounce before breaking out further towards an all-time high of over $2,050/ounce in the near future. The falling USD and falling US bond yields are factors supporting gold prices in the long term.
Today's gold price on the international market is still about 10 million VND/tael lower than SJC gold.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 56.8 million VND/tael, about 500,000 VND/tael higher than the price of gold rings but still about 10 million VND/tael lower than SJC gold.
The central exchange rate this morning was listed by the State Bank at 23,600 VND/USD, down slightly from the end of last week. The USD price at commercial banks is stable at around 23,280 VND/USD for buying and 23,620 VND/USD for selling.
