World gold price today May 27, 2025 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4:30 am today, Vietnam time, was at 3,358.31 USD/ounce. Today's gold price is unchanged compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (26,281 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 106.4 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is about 12.6 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

"It's been a range-bound day," said UBS analyst Giovanni Staunovo, adding that the slight decline in gold prices was due to Trump's decision to delay higher tariffs on EU goods. "With the Memorial Day holiday in the US, trading volumes are likely to be low today."
Both US and UK markets are closed on Monday for a holiday.
On Sunday, President Trump extended the deadline to July 9 to give room for talks between Washington and the European Union to reach a trade deal.
Earlier on Friday, gold prices had their biggest weekly gain in six weeks after Trump reaffirmed his threat to impose tariffs on EU goods and said he was considering a 25% tariff on Apple (AAPL.O) iPhones sold in the United States but not made there.
“We still expect gold prices to continue to rise in the coming months, with the potential to test $3,500 an ounce again,” Staunovo added.
Meanwhile, according to newly released data, China's net gold imports via Hong Kong in April more than doubled compared to March and reached the highest level since March 2024.
Citi also raised its 0-3 month gold price target to $3,500 an ounce from $3,150, citing U.S. tax policy, geopolitical risks and concerns around the U.S. budget. Citi forecasts gold prices to fluctuate between $3,100 and $3,500 an ounce in the near term.
Among other precious metals, spot silver fell 0.3% to $33.38 an ounce, platinum fell 0.6% to $1,088.53 and palladium lost 0.6% to $987.27.
