Gasoline prices continue to decrease, oil prices increase slightly from 3pm this afternoon

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just announced an adjustment to gasoline prices with a reduction in the prices of most products, effective from 3:00 p.m. on July 24.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade , based on the developments in world oil prices, fluctuations in the VND/USD exchange rate and current regulations, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance decided to adjust retail prices of oil products to ensure domestic prices are consistent with world trends, encourage the use of biofuels and harmonize interests among market participants.

Specifically, the maximum retail price for E5 RON 92 gasoline: not higher than VND 19,279/liter (down VND 202/liter compared to the previous period).

RON 95-III gasoline: Not higher than VND 19,709/liter (down VND 216/liter compared to the previous period).

Diesel 0.05S: Not higher than VND 19,129/liter (increase of VND 330/liter compared to the previous period).

Kerosene: Not higher than VND 18,628/liter (up VND 199/liter compared to the previous period).

Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S: Not higher than VND 15,379/kg (down VND 99/kg compared to the previous period).

In this adjustment period, the joint ministries decided to continue not to set aside and not to use the petroleum price stabilization fund for E5 RON 92 gasoline, RON 95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene and fuel oil products.

According to the joint agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world petroleum market during the period from July 17 to 24 is affected by many factors, with alternating increases and decreases for all commodities./.

Thus, gasoline prices have continuously tended to decrease recently, with two consecutive sessions of decrease, after a few sessions of strong increase due to the impact of the US-China trade war.
