Reduce pressure for 10th grade entrance exam

For many years now, the entrance exam for grade 10 high school in Dong Nai has always been a stressful exam for students, parents and the education sector, especially in Bien Hoa city, where the population is large and the number of students is large. Therefore, in 2025, the education sector of Dong Nai has decided to increase the enrollment quota for grade 10 in public high schools. This is considered a practical and humane solution, both reducing the pressure of exams and creating a stable and quality learning environment for students.

Accordingly, in the 2025-2026 school year, the department will increase the enrollment quota for public high schools by about 5% compared to the 2024-2025 school year, equivalent to about 600 additional quotas. The increase in enrollment quota means that thousands more students will be able to study at public schools, which are always the preferred choice of most parents.

In previous admission seasons, due to high competition, the number of candidates far exceeded the quota, forcing many students with good academic performance to switch to vocationaleducation centers - continuing education, vocational schools or non-public schools. The pressure of "failing the 10th grade exam" has become a constant worry for 9th grade students, significantly affecting their mental health and the review process.

With the policy of expanding enrollment quotas, students will have less psychological burden, so they can review more easily, and approach the exam with a more positive and confident mindset. Parents can also rest assured that their children will have more opportunities to study in a stable and quality educational environment.

Increasing the enrollment quota for public grade 10 is not only a temporary solution, but also a sustainable development orientation for Dong Nai education.
