Bloody fighting between pro-Turkish forces and Kurds, Syria situation remains "tense as a bowstring"

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) on January 5 recorded that clashes between Turkish-backed groups and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northern Syria over the past two days have left more than 100 people dead.
