Da Teh Parish and Da Teh town leaders handed over the house to Mrs. Ka Sau's family. |
Along with the support money from Da Teh Parish, Da Teh town also supported 25 million VND from the Fund for the Poor to build a new, spacious house for Mrs. Ka Sau's family (Residential Group 2C).
After 2 months of construction, the solidarity house was completed and handed over to the joy and emotion of Mrs. Ka Sau and her daughter.
It is known that Mrs. Ka Sau's family is a poor household in Da Teh town. Her husband passed away, and she alone took care of her daughter's education in poverty, so she did not have the means to repair or rebuild the house which was becoming increasingly dilapidated.
Mrs. Ka Sau was moved when receiving the attention and support of the Parish and local authorities to build a new house. |
“Building a new house has been a long-standing dream of my daughter and I and we thought it would be difficult to achieve. Now, thanks to the support of the Parish and local authorities, I have a solid house to live in, less worried on stormy days and more motivated to overcome difficulties with my daughter,” said Ms. Ka Sau.
Since the beginning of the year, Da Teh town (Da Huoai district) has mobilized 438 million VND from the following sources: Fund for the Poor (nearly 233 million VND), Da Teh Parish (100 million VND), organizations and unions at all levels (43 million VND), and VNPT 50 million VND. This money has been used to build 2 new houses for poor households and repair 13 houses for households in difficult circumstances.
