The new film “Gio ngang khoi xanh” (Wind Across the Blue Sky) by Vietnam Television Film Production Center (VFC) will air on VTV3 from August 11 after the film “Mat troi lanh” ends.
On July 31, Vietnam Television held a press conference to launch the film in Hanoi .
The film is directed by Le Do Ngoc Linh, with the participation of famous television actors, such as: Doan Quoc Dam, Quynh Kool, Viet Hoa, along with the remarkable return of Phuong Oanh after a period of absence. The film also brings together veteran faces, such as: Meritorious Artist Duc Khue, artist Tu Oanh..., especially 2 new faces, Dennis Dang and Ha Thanh.
“Wind Across the Blue Sky” explores the hidden corners of the psychology and lives of women in their 30s: My Anh (Phuong Oanh), Chau Ngan (Viet Hoa) and Truc Lam (Nguyen Quynh) on their own journey to find happiness, facing different challenges in marriage, career and love.
This is a familiar topic, but through this film, director Le Do Ngoc Linh hopes to portray a different age of 30 with women who are not bound by old habits...
The script is a breath of modern life told from the perspective of contemporary women. They have dreams, ambitions, stubbornness, forgiveness, stumbles, and the "petty" that are so feminine that any girl can see herself in that story.
“Gio ngang khung troi xanh” does not exploit drama but delves into the psychology of women when they stand at a “crossroads” in their lives. Through the choices My Anh, Truc Lam, Chau Ngan make, the audience will see that life’s upheavals are the threshold for us to embark on a new journey, stronger, shining in our own way.
Another attraction of the film is the talented cast. Phuong Oanh has returned to the small screen with her first film after 4 years of absence and is paired with the multi-talented Doan Quoc Dam. This is the duo that "made people miss" in the film "Quynh Doll."
Quynh Cool in this film is paired with To Dung for the first time. The diverse acting of both promises to create a Lam-Toan couple with many interesting contrasts.
The role of Chau Ngan, the only single girl in the group, was given to Viet Hoa with the expectation of an impressive explosion like what she showed in the movie "Doc Dao" in 2024./.
