Ha Giang completes removing 80 temporary houses for people with meritorious services

Implementing the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Prime Minister, from the beginning of 2025, Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee identified this as a key political task, from which it proposed specific and drastic plans and solutions. The province's goal is to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for people with meritorious services before May 19.

With the strong direction of the province, functional sectors and localities have mobilized the participation of the entire political system in the temporary housing elimination program; there is a clear roadmap and completion plan; localities have also been flexible and creative in mobilizing resources to eliminate temporary housing.

Thanks to that, up to now, the province has completed and handed over 80 houses for people with meritorious services, reaching 100% of the plan.

Recently, Comrade Hau A Lenh, Secretary of Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, attended the inauguration of the construction of new houses and the renovation of houses for two families of people with revolutionary contributions in Bac Me district.

At the inauguration ceremony, Secretary of Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh shared that the removal of temporary houses for families of people with revolutionary contributions demonstrates the spirit of mutual love and sharing difficulties with policy beneficiaries with difficult housing circumstances, contributing to the good implementation of the movement "Repaying gratitude" in the locality.

The movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for people with meritorious services deepened the "comradely love and solidarity with fellow countrymen", contributingto educating the younger generation about revolutionary traditions.

Ha Giang Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh presented a portrait of President Ho Chi Minh and the National Flag to the family of war invalid Mai Trung Lien, Yen Dinh commune, Bac Me district.

“In the coming time, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Ha Giang province will continue to direct resolutely; localities will continue to mobilize all resources, focus on leadership, direction, and organization of implementation more resolutely, more synchronously, and more effectively to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province according to the set goals and plans,” emphasized Ha Giang Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh.

After completing the elimination of temporary houses for people with meritorious services on the occasion of Uncle Ho's birthday, Ha Giang province will continue to enter the second phase of supporting housing for families of war invalids, martyrs, and other policy beneficiaries, striving to complete before War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27; striving to complete the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for all beneficiaries on the occasion of National Day, September 2, no later than October 31, 2025.
