Ha Giang: More than 10,500 candidates take the 10th grade entrance exam

On the morning of June 5, more than 10,500 candidates in Ha Giang entered the 10th grade entrance exam. This is the first exam under the 2018 general education program with a new exam structure.

Candidates registered for admission to 40 High Schools; Provincial Boarding High Schools for Ethnic Minorities; Boarding Middle and High Schools for Ethnic Minorities.

Candidates took the exam at 39 examination councils and 432 examination rooms at schools where students registered for admission.

In preparation for the 10th grade entrance exam, Ha Giang province has announced the sample exam structure and the third exam subject. This is the first year of choosing the third exam subject, Ha Giang province has chosen History-Geography instead of Foreign Language like other localities.

On the morning of June 5, candidates took the Literature exam.

The choice of History-Geography subjects is suitable to local realities and the goal of ensuringeducational quality.

The organization of the exam is carefully prepared at each stage, associated with the responsibility of each organization and individual participating in the implementation of the task.

According to the plan, on the first exam day, candidates will take 2 subjects: Literature in the morning in essay form; Math in the afternoon.
