According to the Hanoi Department of Transport, from September 5, the city will have 4 more locations in 4 districts that will receive and issue driver's licenses at the one-stop shop: Me Linh, Thanh Oai, Quoc Oai, and Ba Vi.

Localities shall receive and return results of administrative procedure settlement according to the internal process of handling administrative procedures in the road sector under the jurisdiction of the Hanoi Department of Transport approved by the City People's Committee.

Previously, in addition to the two locations for receiving and returning results of administrative procedures for changing driving licenses issued by the Department of Transport and re-issuing driving licenses at 258 Vo Chi Cong (Xuan La Ward, Tay Ho District) and 16 Cao Ba Quat Street ( Dien Bien Ward, Ba Dinh District), the Department of Transport has authorized to carry out administrative procedures at the One-Stop Department of the People's Committees of 9 districts, towns and cities including: Nam Tu Liem, Long Bien, My Duc, Dong Anh, Ung Hoa, Phu Xuyen, Dan Phuong, Soc Son and Son Tay town.

The addition of four more points for receiving and exchanging driving licenses authorized by the Hanoi Department of Transport has increased the total number of localities where this is implemented to 13 districts, towns and cities.

According to the Hanoi Department of Transport, the authorization to receive and process driver's license renewal procedures at many locations in the city has created favorable conditions for people to quickly complete driver's license renewal and re-issuance procedures, helping to reduce the overload at driver's license renewal points on Cao Ba Quat Street and Vo Chi Cong Street as before.
