This is an annual event to stimulate tourism , promote the image of the capital with the message "Hanoi - Come to love", and at the same time contribute to celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and respond to the National Tourism Year 2025.

The festival is not only an occasion to honor the values of world and national cultural heritage but also contributes to preserving and promoting traditional beauty, making Hanoi an attractive cultural destination on the international tourist map.
Prestigious titles such as "Top 2/25 world's leading cultural destinations in 2025", "Top 7/25 world's leading destinations in 2025" or "Top 14/25 most favorite destinations of all time" voted by Tripadvisor continue to affirm the position of the Capital.
With a harmonious combination of cultural heritage and traditional crafts, the program introduces a series of tourist gifts bearing the mark of Hanoi. Each product is not only a souvenir but also contains cultural quintessence, becoming a messenger conveying the identity of the land of a thousand years of civilization.
The festival is also a bridge between tourism and culture, promoting Hanoi's destinations, services and tourism products to domestic and foreign tourists.
The organizers hope that through this event, cultural and historical tourism routes will be expanded, connecting relics with activities to preserve and promote heritage values, especially Thang Long Tu Tran, West Lake area, Old Quarter, Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and vicinity.
One of the highlights of the festival is the craft village space, where visitors have the opportunity to experience and learn about traditional crafts such as Bat Trang pottery, Van Phuc silk, Phu Vinh bamboo and rattan weaving, Ha Thai lacquerware, Ngu Xa bronze casting, Lang Vong green rice flakes... These unique handicraft products are not only meaningful gifts but also contribute to preserving and developing craft villages, bringing traditional crafts further into the international tourism market.
In addition to enhancing the value of tourism products, the program also promotes tourists' spending ability, strengthens cooperation between management agencies, craft village associations, businesses and artisans, and forms a professional and attractive tourism product supply chain.
Activities are organized on a large scale, creatively and with strong mobilization of social resources, contributing to enriching the capital's tourism products.
With a system of 5,922 historical and cultural relics, including one world cultural heritage, 21 special national relics, 1,793 intangible cultural heritages and 1,350 traditional craft villages, Hanoi affirms its position as the leading cultural and historical tourist destination in Vietnam and the region.
