Hanoi: Investment capital implemented from the budget reached 66.1%.

Hanoi city statistics show that the investment capital implemented from the state budget managed by localities in October reached VND 9,479 trillion, up 6.8% compared to the previous month and up 18.2% over the same period in 2024. Of which, the city-level state budget capital was VND 4,093 billion, up 3.2% and 30.7%; the commune-level state budget capital was VND 5,386 billion, up 9.7% and 10.1%.

In the first 10 months of 2025, the investment capital from the State budget managed by localities was VND 69.1 trillion, reaching 66.1% of the annual plan and increasing by 29.4% over the same period last year. Of which, the State budget capital at the city level was VND 30.6 trillion, reaching 61.5% and increasing by 49.2%; the State budget capital at the commune level was VND 38.5 trillion, reaching 70.2% and increasing by 17%.

In October, Hanoi started construction of 8 key projects in the fields of transport infrastructure, health , culture and urban areas, contributing to creating a new look for the city.

Specifically, the projects include: Investment in the construction of an underpass at Co Linh intersection in Long Bien ward with a total length of 600m, with a total investment of 748 billion VND; investment project to build the Pearl Theater and thematic cultural and artistic park in Tay Ho ward with a total area of 191.2 thousand ^m2 (phase 1 to build the Pearl Theater complex with an area of 93.3 thousand ^m2 and phase 2 to build thematic cultural and artistic park with an area of 88.7 thousand ^m2 ) with a total investment of 12,756 billion VND.

Along with that, the construction of Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School in Phu Luong ward with a total investment of 980 billion VND was started; the investment project to build Hanoi Kidney Hospital (facility 2) in Duong Noi ward with a total investment of 749 billion VND; the investment project to build Thuong Cat bridge and the road at both ends of the bridge in Thuong Cat ward with a route length of 11.5km with a total investment of 7,303 billion VND.

In addition, there is also the investment project to build urban railway line No. 2, Nam Thang Long - Tran Hung Dao section with a total investment of 35,588 billion VND; the investment project to build Tran Hung Dao bridge in Bo De ward with a total investment of 7,549 billion VND.

On this occasion, Hanoi also started the project of compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance belonging to the group of investment projects to build the Square - Park east of Hoan Kiem Lake with a total investment of 2,949 billion VND.
