The program had the participation of representatives of the Hanoi Blind Association, lecturers, career guidance experts and 20 students - visually impaired people who are studying and training to be able to live independently and confidently integrate into the community.

In his opening speech, Deputy Director of the Center for Vocational Education - Hanoi Association for the Blind Nguyen Trung Thai emphasized that career guidance for the blind is not only a humanitarian activity but also "the key to opening up opportunities for integration, independence and self-affirmation". He shared: "A suitable career helps the blind have a stable income, but more importantly, it helps them find joy and meaning in life. With the support of social organizations, experts and the efforts of each person, barriers will certainly be narrowed".
At the program, students are introduced to basic knowledge about career orientation, including three core principles: Interests - Capacity - Social needs. Correctly identifying personal strengths helps blind people choose suitable jobs, avoid wasting time and resources, and increase adaptability in the modern working environment.

According to the representative of the Vocational Education Center, in the coming time, the unit will continue to implement soft skills training courses, in-depth career counseling and connect with businesses to create more practical job opportunities for the visually impaired. In parallel, the Center also focuses on training in information technology skills, communication skills and adaptation in an open working environment.
The training activity is considered a practical step in supporting the visually impaired in the capital to improve their capacity, promote their will to be independent and integrate into the community - contributing to spreading the message of a humane society that leaves no one behind.
