Kinhtedothi – Hanoi People's Committee has issued Decision No. 6138/QD-UBND dated November 27, 2024 on ranking historical-cultural relics and scenic spots in Hanoi.
According to the Decision, 12 relics were ranked as city-level relics, of which Phuc Tho district has 2 historical and cultural relics including: Cuu Luc Communal House, Xuan Dinh commune and the relic cluster of Duc Ong Temple, Ca Temple, and Hat Mon Temple, Hat Mon commune. Ba Vi district has 10 historical and cultural relics including: Pho Communal House, Tay Dang town; Vien Chau Pagoda (Thien Linh Tu), Co Do commune; La Thuong Communal House, La Thuong Pagoda, and the temple of the Holy Lady Hoang Loan Princess, Tan Hong commune; Thach Xa Pagoda (Thuan Phuc Tu), Thuan My commune; Phu Thinh Communal House and Thanh Chieu Communal House, Phu Cuong commune; Thinh Thon Pagoda (Phuc Khanh Tu), Cam Thuong commune; Bang Y Communal House, Son Da commune.
The City People's Committee assigned the People's Committees of Phuc Tho and Ba Vi districts to be responsible for publicizing the protected area of the relic and organizing the preparation of boundary marker planting records and implementing boundary marker planting in the field according to authority and current legal regulations.
The People's Committees of communes with historical relics shall issue decisions to establish relic management boards; organize the management of relic sites and spaces, all artifacts belonging to relics, activities to protect and promote the value of relics, and use revenue from relics according to the provisions of Decision No. 48/2016/QD-UBND dated November 17, 2016 and Decision No. 31/2021/QD-UBND dated December 29, 2021 of the Hanoi People's Committee on promulgating regulations, amending and supplementing a number of articles of the regulations on management, protection and promotion of the value of historical-cultural relics and scenic spots in Hanoi.
All activities related to construction and exploitation in the classified relic area and the protected areas are strictly prohibited. In special cases, land use and construction at the relic must be permitted by the Hanoi People's Committee.
The City People's Committee assigns the Department of Culture & Sports , the People's Committees of Phuc Tho and Ba Vi districts and the People's Committees of communes where ranked relics are located, within the scope of their tasks and powers, to carry out state management of relics according to their authority and regulations of the law on cultural heritage.
