Synchronous infrastructure - a lever to attract investment

Implementing Resolution No. 39/NQ-TW dated January 15, 2019 of the Politburo , Da Lat City has focused on creating a favorable investment and business environment, attracting diverse resources for socio-economic development. This is an important foundation for the city to make a breakthrough in development.

One of the city's main efforts in recent times has been to improve the physical facilities and socio -economic infrastructure to attract investment. The city has also focused on building synchronous infrastructure and expanding urban space to gradually turn Da Lat into a modern, creative city and become an international center for eco-tourism, high-end resorts, and cultural heritage tourism. The city is also aiming to become the political, administrative, economic and cultural center of the province.

To concretize these goals, recently, the city has completed the overall adjustment of the master plan for Da Lat until 2030 and vision to 2050. This plan aims to expand the urban space in the approved direction, and at the same time issue the Urban Architecture Management Regulations to ensure planning management and develop the city into a unique, harmonious and luxurious heritage city. The city's goal is to achieve a 100% coverage rate of planning and land use to focus on land management, construction management and investment attraction.

The city has also focused on developing urban infrastructure, including transportation, technical infrastructure, irrigation, education, healthcare, energy, telecommunications, parks, parking lots, water supply and drainage, wastewater treatment, industrial infrastructure, agricultural infrastructure, rural areas, commercial infrastructure and social housing.

In the period of 2022-2025, Da Lat City also focuses on developing physical resources and socio-economic infrastructure. This is an important part of the city's master plan to facilitate economic development and improve the quality of life of residents.

Specifically, Da Lat has been investing in transport infrastructure projects such as road expansion and construction of new routes to improve travel within the city and connect with neighboring areas. At the same time, it is upgrading and expanding the airport to enhance passenger service capacity and attract tourism.

According to information from the People's Committee of Da Lat City, the city is currently implementing 82 public investment projects in the field of transportation and technical infrastructure with a total investment of VND 2,526,653 million, of which Lam Dong province's budget is VND 2,168,930 million, Da Lat city's budget is VND 357,723 million. It is expected that in the period of 2023-2025, Lam Dong province's budget will invest in the construction of 8 transportation and technical infrastructure works with a total investment of VND 449,139 million, Da Lat city's budget will invest in 16 works with a total investment of VND 272,669 million.

In addition, Da Lat City has also increased investment in technical infrastructure such as water supply, wastewater treatment, electricity and telecommunications; promoted the development of industrial parks and new urban areas to attract investment and create jobs for people.

With the strong determination of the local government and the province's attention and investment resources, Da Lat is gradually improving its appearance, promising to become an ideal destination for tourism, relaxation and investment.
