According to the Department of Construction of Ha Tinh, based on the plan for the arrangement of commune-level administrative units prepared by the Department of Home Affairs and opinions at the meeting of the Steering Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, this unit has proposed a plan to select the headquarters of the units after the arrangement based on a number of priority principles.

Accordingly, Ha Tinh prioritizes using headquarters to ensure maximum utilization of facilities, helping the new local government quickly go into stable operation.

The location of the administrative-political center of the new administrative unit must be in the central area of ​​population distribution, with a favorable geographical location, synchronous economic-social infrastructure, especially a developed transportation system to help people easily access and ensure convenient connectivity with other areas in the province.

The administrative-political center of the new administrative unit has space for future development; is consistent with the socio-economic development orientation of the new unit, ensuring harmony and rationality, avoiding imbalance between localities when merging, and ensuring the maintenance of national defense and security.

Priority is given to selecting administrative - political centers of new administrative units in urban areas already included in the list of urban development plans of Ha Tinh province for the period 2021-2030.
